Today (1st October 2020) is National Poetry Day, and we’re all encouraged to celebrate by sharing a poem with friends, family and neighbours. Both online and in the places we live and work.
At Semaphore we love a poem, so we thought we’d get the ball rolling by sharing these lines we penned to plug our own services! Well, why not?
If you’re good at what you do then you need to spread the word
‘cos you’ll never grow your business if people haven’t heard
of what you do or make or sell. But where do you begin?
Marketing’s the thing to do and that’s where we come in.
Approaching every client with a new perspective,
sometimes unconventional but really quite effective.
New ways to reach your market, ideas for fresh campaigns.
When to keep it low key, when to open that champagne.
So, if you have some lovely customers but need to find some more,
Perhaps the time has come for you to meet with Semaphore?
For us, poetry is another great way to play with words. It’s one tool in the kit we use to find innovative ways to make our clients stand out from the crowd. Whether we’re writing blogs, producing email marketing or devising web copy. Crafting employee communications or scheduling for socials.
Or perhaps, a business is looking to see their name in print? We work with them to determine what would make the best story, identify the publications that will reach their target market, write the press release and then liaise with journalists on their behalf.
SO, WHO ARE WE?
Semaphore is a growing PR and marketing company. Founded in 2000, we have helped a range of businesses to get noticed by the people and organisations that matter to them through imaginative and creative communications and marketing campaigns. We’ve worked across a range of sectors including organisational psychology, social care, health and wellbeing, financial services and various trades. You can read a little more about us here.
We understand that marketing needs to reflect and support your business objectives. But we like to make it fun wherever possible. Not in a red nose and spinning bow tie kind of way – we just try to find a quirky or unusual take on things. So that people stop, read, smile and remember. As Charles Dickens said: “There is nothing in the world so irresistibly contagious as laughter and good humour.”
